At Happy Transmissions all of our transmission rebuilds are inspected three times over to ensure a quality product. Our transmissions are inspected before they are broken down into individual components, are cleaned and inspected in their separate form and then assembled into their individual "micro-processes" and tested of their independent functionality. After the transmission is completely rebuilt, the transmission is then further inspected as a whole unit to ensure its' final functioning state. Built by a German perfectionist.

All our W-series 22R and 22RE transmissions come at a wholesale price.
The W-series transmission types are W 55, W 56, W 58, and W 59.
The generalized cost of W-series transmissions are;
$1,295.00 depending on the internal components cost in parts kits.
The W56-D and W56-E have different syncro patterns and therefore have more expensive parts kits. Any W-series transmission beyond year 1991 will be at a cost of $1,395.00.
Because of availability and rarity of the W-58 and W-59 models the standard price for a rebuild is $1,395.00.
All our R-series 3.0L and 3.4L V6 transmissions come at a wholesale price.
The R-series transmission types are R-150, R-150F, and R-151F Turbo.
The generalized cost of R-series transmissions are;
A flat rate of $1,295.00. This is for Toyota models before the date of 1995 with the 3.0L V6 engine.Vehicles with the 3.4L V6 engine have a different transmission and require a different parts kit. Toyotas with this model engine are $1,295.00.
All parts kits are reasonably similar in cost, therefore the cost of rebuilding should be the same in labor.
Because of availability and rarity of the R-151F Turbo model the standard price for a rebuild is $1,695.00.

Stage 1 = (Factory w/ drain plugs & microlon assembly lube)
Stage 2 = stage 1 + (aftermarket 1st/2nd shift fork, thrust washer, bearing retainer plate, microlon assembly lube)
Stage 3 = stage 2 + (close gear ratio transmission, cryogenic treatment, aftermarket 3rd/4th shift fork, steel 5th gear shifting fork (optional aluminum fork for weight reduction), microlon wheel bearing treatment AND friction reduction compound.)

Shipping and Handling
We offer shipping and handling to anywhere within the boundaries of the North American continent. Transmissions can be either box shipped or palletized and freight shipped. Personally, I prefer shipping plastic wrapped transmissions on a pallet because of the safety in shipping such an awkward, heavy item.
